Logistics

The logistics department will receive your goods and check the status of the goods and the completeness of the batch before it enters the testing process. You may send your items to be assayed in various ways: send them by parcel service, have them picked up by the EWN external service or you can drop off items.

Precious metal assay

Laboratory

The EWN assayers will determine the precious metal content of the objects you offer. EWN is accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council for both NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 17020 and NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 17025.

Assay Office since 2002

Edelmetaal Waarborg Nederland

EWN has been certified as Assay Office by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy under the Dutch Assay Act. The Assay Act requires ornamental and utility articles of precious metal intended for the Dutch market to be tested by an independent body. Assay Office EWN is charged with this task as an independent administrative body.
